The Biodiversity Conservation Trust

The Biodiversity Conservation Trust (BCT) supports private land conservation in NSW to deliver a healthy, productive and resilient environment across NSW.

To achieve this, the BCT encourages landowners to enter into agreements to conserve biodiversity and delivers a strategic biodiversity offsetting service to compensate the loss of biodiversity due to development and other activities, and to support landholders to conserve biodiversity on their land.

The BCT also promotes public knowledge, appreciation and understanding of biodiversity, and the importance of conserving biodiversity.
